Power BI November 2024 Feature Summary

Welcome to the November 2024 update. We’re thrilled to introduce Copilot in Power BI Mobile apps, bringing AI to your fingertips for a smarter, faster way to explore data on the go. This month’s update also includes a new Path layer for the Azure Map visual, making geospatial analysis even more powerful by helping you easily map connections between multiple locations. We’re also introducing the OneLake catalog, the latest evolution of the OneLake data hub, offers a unified platform for data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and decision-makers to browse, manage, and govern data seamlessly—all from one intuitive interface.

Today we are excited to announce the release of the Power BI solution template for Azure Activity Logs. This template provides analytics on top of your Activity Log in the Azure Portal. Gain insight into the activities performed by various resources and people in your subscription. Get started with historical analysis on your last 90 days of Activity Log data, and let an Azure SQL database accumulate these historical events in addition to incoming events.

Power BI Desktop August Feature Summary

This month we are very excited to release our What if feature, which we previewed in the Data Insights Summit keynote back in June. We’ve also added even more features for our table and matrix visual, including a formatting option to show values on rows of your matrix. We also have several new analytics features, such as symmetry shading and ratio lines for scatter charts.
